Prop firm trade copier for MT4 and MT5: Copy one strategy to every challenge and funded account.
Each account trades at a size that fits its balance, and Equity Guard watches the daily loss and drawdown lines you set for it. It all runs in our cloud, so there's no VPS to rent and nothing to keep running at home.

Before you connect an account
Check your firm's rules first.
Every prop firm sets its own rules for copy trading and trade copiers, and they change often, so we don't list which firm allows what. Ask yours these questions, and keep the answers in writing.
Updated
Copying between your own accounts
Some firms allow it between all your accounts, some only between your accounts at that firm, some not on funded accounts, and a few only with their own copier.
Which way trades may go
Whether your personal account or an account at another firm may be the master, and whether you may copy trades out of the firm's accounts.
Hosted copiers and IP addresses
Some firms don't allow a hosted copier, several traders on one IP address, or a server shared by many traders. Your accounts trade from IP addresses that our servers share with other customers, unless you connect them through your own proxy. A proxy changes the address, not where the account runs.
Opposite positions
Hedging across accounts is banned almost everywhere, even between your own accounts. So don't copy in reverse into a prop account.
Combined capital
Many firms cap the total size of the accounts you trade with one strategy, across all their plans.
Automated trading, news and weekends
Some firms don't allow automated tools on larger accounts, and many restrict trading around news or over the weekend. Every follower takes the master's trades at the same time.
We don't disguise copied trades. There are no random delays or random lot sizes to get past a firm's checks. If your firm doesn't allow a copier, don't copy into its accounts.
Lot sizing
Size every account to its own balance.
A 10K challenge and a 200K funded account can take the same trade at the same risk. Each follower has its own sizing rule, and you can cap the largest lot it takes.
- Balance ratio
- The master's lots scaled by the follower's balance against the master's
- Equity ratio
- The same with equity, so open profit and loss count too
- Risk per trade
- Sized so the master's stop loss risks a set percentage of the follower's equity
- Largest lot
- A cap on any single copy, whatever the master trades
- Below the minimum
- If a copy comes out below the broker's smallest lot, trade the minimum or skip it
| Follower | Balance | Copy |
|---|---|---|
| 10K challenge | $10,000 | 0.10 lot |
| 50K challenge | $50,000 | 0.50 lot |
| 200K funded | $200,000 | 1.50 lotscapped from 2.00 |
Equity Guard
Hold each account inside its own limits.
Set your lines a little inside your firm's limits. When equity crosses one, Equity Guard emails you, and can also pause copying to the account and close every position and pending order on it.
How Equity Guard works| Rule | Firm's line | Equity Guard |
|---|---|---|
| Daily loss limit | $5,000 (5%) | $4,000 (4%) |
| Equity floor | $90,000 (−10%) | $91,000 (−9%) |
| Profit target | $110,000 (+10%) | $110,000 (+10%) |
The day starts when your firm's does
Firms reset the daily loss at different times: the broker's midnight, midnight in a set time zone, or the evening in New York. Equity Guard starts the day at the broker's midnight, or at the time and time zone you pick.
The day's loss, counted your firm's way
Some firms count it from the balance when the day began, others from the higher of balance and equity at that moment. Equity Guard can count it either way, and you set the limit as an amount or a percentage of the starting balance.
A fixed floor
You set the floor as an amount, or as a percentage below the starting balance, which Equity Guard reads from the account's first deposit. It stays where you put it, so if your firm's drawdown trails your balance, move the floor up with it.
Room for slippage
Equity Guard closes at the market price and keeps trying until the account is flat. In a fast market a fill can land past the line, so set each line a little inside your firm's limit.
Master or follower
A guard on a follower stops copying to that account only. A guard on the master stops copying to every follower, and closing the master's positions closes their copies too.
Symbols and trading hours
Your firm's symbol names. Your trading hours.
Symbols
Prop firm servers often name instruments differently from your broker. Names that differ only by a suffix, such as EURUSD and EURUSD.pro, are matched automatically, and so are common aliases like XAUUSD and GOLD. You map anything else once. You can also copy only the symbols you list, or every symbol except those.
Trading hours
Copy new trades only in the hours you choose for each weekday, on your broker's clock or your own time zone, to stay out of rollover and the weekend gap. Copies that are already open still follow the master's closes, so if your firm doesn't allow holding over the weekend, close the trades on the master in time.
Do prop firms allow trade copiers?
Some do, some don't, and some only allow copy trading with their own copier. Rules also differ between a firm's challenge and funded accounts, and they change often, so we don't keep a list. Read your firm's current rules, ask support where they're unclear, and keep the answer in writing. Breaking them can cost you the account, the fee or a payout, as the risk disclosure explains.
Can I copy to accounts at different prop firms?
The copier can. Your master and followers can be at any broker or prop firm, each on MT4 or MT5. Whether it's allowed is up to each firm: some don't allow copying in from outside accounts, others don't allow copying out of theirs.
Which account should be the master?
An account you trade yourself: a personal account, a demo account, or a prop account if your firm allows copying out of it. Prop firms generally don't allow copying someone else's trades or signals into their accounts.
Will Equity Guard stop me breaking my firm's daily loss limit?
It's a safety net, not a guarantee. It acts when equity crosses your line and closes at the market price, so in a fast market a fill can land past the line. Set your lines a little inside your firm's limits, and set the day's start and how the loss is counted the way your firm does. The risk disclosure lists what it can't prevent.
What IP address do my accounts trade from?
From our servers' IP addresses. Other customers' accounts share them, and they can change over time. To trade from an address of your own, tick “Connect through my own proxy” when you connect the account, and the broker sees the proxy's address instead. Use a proxy with a fixed address that only you use, and tell your firm about it if its rules ask you to. A proxy changes the address, not where the account runs, so it doesn't help where a firm bans hosted copiers.
Can my prop firm see that trades are copied?
Assume it can. Firms compare trades across accounts, and copies open right after the master's trade, at sizes in proportion to it. We don't add random delays or random lot sizes to hide that, so only copy into accounts where your firm allows it.
Does it work with MT5 netting accounts?
Not as followers. A follower has to be a hedging account: any MT4 account, or an MT5 account set to hedging.
Can it keep copies away from news releases?
Not automatically, because there's no news calendar built in. Trading hours limit copying to the times you choose on each weekday, which covers fixed times such as rollover. Around a release your firm restricts, pause the copier.
How are accounts counted on a plan?
Every account in a copier uses one slot: the master and each follower. A personal master and four prop accounts fit the Trader plan: 5 accounts for $47 a month.
